Bill Campbell has been a potter for over 30 years. Across the county, his porcelain is admired for its spectacular color and elegant, crisp forms... each piece maintaining some of the energy of its creator. The glazes dance with surprising vibrancy in unexpected patterns. Functional pots become little moments of celebration within the day-to-day routine. Bill started making crystalline glazes about 10 years ago, and now it is his favorite glaze, because of the freedom to experiment more in color and crystals. The crystals form, or "grow", in the kiln.

Jessica Geib grew up outside of Luckey, Ohio and always wanted to make things and sell them. Tyson Geib grew up in Fremont, Ohio with some obsessive compulsive issues and an affinity for the tedious and the detailed, which eventually lead him to a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Bowling Green State University with a focus in ceramics. They met at a production pottery studio in northwest Ohio, where they were co-workers for five years before they realized they were perfect for one another. They decided to get engaged, and shortly after that, lost their jobs on exactly the same day. After getting thrown that curveball, starting their own pottery studio seemed the logical thing to do. Now they spend each day happily working together, utilizing their different and complimentary talents in an effort to make pots that are hopefully different from and complimentary to the objects you use and enjoy on a daily basis.

They are known for their functional porcelain, which combines botanic elements with sculptural forms. Over the years they have developed flowing matte microcrystalline glazes, which make each piece beautifully unique.

When you look at Travis Berning's pottery you can almost feel his life coming through in every facet of his art. His childhood on a farm in Western Kansas made him love the combination of hands-on physicality and sensitivity to nature that is so evident in the strong forms of his pots. In 1991 Travis began his college experience at Garden City Community College on a two-dimensional art scholarship in drawing and painting. After taking a class in ceramics, however, Travis realized he wanted to work with clay. His painting professor urged him to remain in the painting program but it was too late. He had a natural passion for pottery. He now lives and works in the Ashville, NC area.
